Help recognise Canada’s top advisors at Liberty Grand on 4 June 2026 – nominations close 13 February
The Wealth Professional Awards 2026 return for their twelfth year as the benchmark for excellence in Canada’s wealth management sector, shining a spotlight on the advisors, firms and leaders who are redefining advice and elevating client outcomes.
This year’s awards celebrate the people and teams whose leadership, innovation and commitment to clients are shaping the future of wealth management across the country.
Past participants describe the impact of being recognized on this national stage.
“It’s just an honour to be here tonight. Feels wonderful for our larger team of hundreds of professionals to be recognized,” said Cameron Smith of Nicola Wealth.
Others speak to what it means on a personal level.
“Being a female Trailblazer of the Year is basically telling you that all the hard work that you’ve been doing throughout the years has come to fruition and people actually like what you’ve been doing. And this is a great celebration,” said Elizabeth Naumovsk of Caldwell Securities Ltd.
Nominations matter because they bring forward the stories and achievements that might otherwise stay within firms or teams.
By nominating, you help ensure that the industry’s most dedicated professionals and most effective initiatives receive the recognition they deserve, and you give nominees the chance to share their work on a national platform through Wealth Professional’s reach.
The process is straightforward.
In Stage 1, nominations are open to all wealth management professionals and organisations across Canada from November 24, 2025, until the extended deadline of February 13, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST.
You simply visit the Nominate page on the event website, provide the nominee’s contact details and briefly explain in up to 300 words why they deserve recognition.
There is no fee to submit a nomination.
In Stage 2, the Wealth Professional Awards team conducts independent research to supplement nominations and ensure no standout candidate is missed; from this combined pool, Stage 3 identifies and notifies Excellence Awardees, who are invited to submit confidential, detailed information against the category criteria.
In Stage 4, an independent panel of senior industry judges reviews and scores these submissions to select the winners, and in Stage 5, the winners are announced at the awards show and featured across Wealth Professional’s channels.
The Wealth Professional Awards 2026 take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Toronto’s Liberty Grand, where the industry will come together to celebrate this year’s Excellence Awardees and reveal the winners live.
If you know an advisor, team, firm or partner that raises the bar for Canada’s wealth management industry — or if that describes you or your organisation — now is the time to put their name forward.
Submit your nomination before February 13, 2026, and help ensure the people and teams shaping the future of advice receive the recognition they have earned.
